At BiCamera, we believe in absolute user privacy. Our core philosophy is simple: your videos, photos, and camera feeds belong to you and only you. This Privacy Policy details how we handle information in the BiCamera application.
1. Zero Data Collection
BiCamera does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data, video recordings, or captured photos. Everything you capture, record, or edit remains strictly local to your device.
- No User Accounts: You do not need to create an account or provide an email address to use BiCamera.
- No Cloud Storage: We do not operate any external cloud storage or servers. Your videos and photos are saved securely in the App's local sandbox, with the option to export them to your Apple Photo Library on demand.
- No Analytics Tracking: We do not track your behavioral data, device usage, or location.
- No Face or Biometric Data: BiCamera does not perform face detection, face recognition, or facial-landmark analysis, and it does not create faceprints or any other biometric identifiers. The optional "Beauty" feature is an on-device, cosmetic skin-smoothing filter applied in real time to the live camera preview only; it processes pixels using Apple's built-in Core Image filters and does not identify individuals or store any face data.
2. Device Permissions Used
To provide simultaneous dual-camera recording, BiCamera requires access to specific hardware capabilities. These permissions are strictly used locally:
- Camera Access: Used to capture live feeds from both the front and back camera lenses simultaneously.
- Microphone Access: Used to record high-quality audio accompanying the video capture.
- Photo Library Access: Used exclusively to export and save your chosen videos and photos to the system Photos app on demand. We do not read, access, or manage your other photos.
- Motion/Gyroscope: Used locally to display the horizon level overlay, helping you capture straight and stable footage.
3. In-App Purchases (StoreKit)
We use Apple's native StoreKit API for In-App Purchases (BiCamera Pro Unlock). All transaction processing, payment info, and subscription status are managed securely by Apple. BiCamera does not see, collect, or store your credit card or financial details.
4. Third-Party Services
BiCamera does not integrate any third-party ad networks, tracking analytics SDKs, or external databases. Your app experience is 100% clean and private.
