Welcome to Oilea. We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring the security of your information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our application.

Our Promise: Your data stays on your device. We don't see it. We can't sell it.

Information We Collect

Data Stored Locally on Your Device

Oilea stores your data locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. This may include:

Essential oil collection and inventory data
Custom blend recipes you create
Diffuser usage logs and schedules
Safety profile preferences and notes
App settings and preferences

                Important: This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly enable iCloud sync. Even then, it's encrypted and stored in your personal iCloud account.

Analytics

Oilea does not collect analytics data. The app runs entirely on your device, and no usage information is sent to any server.

iCloud Sync

When you enable iCloud sync in Oilea:

Your data is encrypted and stored in your personal iCloud account
Apple's privacy policy governs iCloud storage
We cannot access your iCloud data
You can disable iCloud sync at any time

Note: iCloud sync uses your iCloud storage quota.

In-App Purchases

Oilea offers a one-time, lifetime purchase that unlocks all premium features. There are no subscriptions, no recurring charges, and no automatic renewals. Payment is processed once through Apple's App Store.

Your Rights and Choices

Access and Control

View Data: All your data is accessible within the app
Export Data: Use the Export feature to download your data as JSON
Delete Data: Use the in-app "Delete All Data" option in Settings, or delete the app
Disable Sync: Turn off iCloud sync at any time in Settings

Children's Privacy

Oilea does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 years of age.
