How do I restore my purchase?

Open the app and go to Settings → Premium, then tap "Restore Existing Purchase". Your purchase is tied to your Apple ID and will be restored automatically.

Where is my data stored?

All your data is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. If you enable iCloud sync, your data is encrypted and stored in your personal iCloud account. We never see or access your data.

How do I delete my data?

Open Settings → Data Management → "Delete All Data". This permanently removes all your data from the device. You can also delete the app to remove everything.

Can I use the app on multiple devices?

Yes. Sign in with the same Apple ID to restore your purchase, and enable iCloud sync to keep your essential oil collection and blends consistent across devices.

How do I create a custom blend?

Go to the Blends tab and tap the "+" button. Select your essential oils, adjust the drops for each oil, and the app will automatically calculate dilution ratios and safety warnings.

What safety information does the app provide?

Oilea provides comprehensive safety profiles for each essential oil, including pregnancy safety, pet safety (cats, dogs, birds), phototoxicity warnings, child-safe age recommendations, and skin sensitization alerts.

How do I export my data?

Go to Settings → Data Export. You can export your entire collection, blends, and diffuser logs as a JSON file that can be backed up or transferred to another device.

Is the essential oil database updated?

The app comes with a comprehensive database of 200+ essential oils. We may add more oils in future updates. You can also add custom oils to your personal collection.
